The 5th year GB& IRE v ROTW
Venue:  Isla Canela Golf Entry Fee: 100€ inclusive

Without doubt the most exciting weekend of the year. Play is based on a "variation" of the Ryder Cup format. Refreshments on course and Dinner on the Saturday evening ( bring your partners along to this and drink and dance the night away, ( but don t forget the final day s singles).
2010 s battle at Quinta do Vale, ended after 2 days of competetive golf with all eyes fixed on the last 2 matches, with the contest going either way with 3 holes to play.
GB& IRE having won the first day, looked favourites for a good part of the second day, but the ROTW were not going to hand over the cup without a fight.  A great weekend, and try as they may neither of the captains could find the extra half point for the overall win. The contest ending in a draw, which meant the ROTW ( being the current holders)retained the Cup
Back to their own turf in 2011 the ROTW will take some beating. Come on all you competetive golfers,
time to stand up and be counted. Lets bring the cup back to the GB & Ire camp. 2 years is long enough for the ROTW to hold it.

IV ANNUAL CHILDRENS CHARITY DAY  (Sat 14th)
A great day for a great Charity. This will be the fourth year we have raised money for local childrens charities. Last year the monies were donated to  the orphanage in VILLA REAL SAN  ANTONIO. The 2 previous years  donations were to the AONES CHILDRENS HOME AT HUELVA. Come along and support this Day, BUT, don t forget  the serious side of all this, there are  great prizes for the winning golfers,  Also sponsored prizes on some of the holes.  If you cannot be here or participate for any reasn this does not prevent you making a donation to the Charity. If you  come along to the presentation of the proceeds POST TOURNAMENTand witness the expressions on the childrens faces i am sure you will be happy that you made such a donation.
